i got caught with a vape which was not mines in sixth form in year 12 will I get a criminal record or something which will affect my future career for a stupid mistake

Hi there, definitely won’t give you a criminal record as possessing a vape underage isn’t illegal! Using one isn’t either- it’s illegal to sell vapes to u18s, but that responsibility lies with the seller, not you. Won’t affect careers at all unless your school gives you an official suspension, unis might see that. That’d be a huge overreaction to something like this though, and even then, probably not a big deal.
