I am a mature student who is thinking of doing a classics/history BA with possible foundation year. Im worried about the travel element commuting at travelling home late it will probably be 11pm before I get home. Im worried as I have a chronic condition there may not be much support or the travel will add to it. At an open day I met a current student with lots of health problems who raved about all the support she got and I fully believed all the hype now Ihave read these reviews Im nervous. Im not worried about the uni experience I just want to get my degree by putting my head down and completing the work but its still an issue when you read the reviews on the other thread about useless lecturers and no support. I am unlikely to get in many places with my qualifications and age so I should be grateful I can here. I suppose this isnt the thread I should be posting on as its for potential applicants, but has anyone else had cold feet once they read the reviews on the other thread?
