I’m an international student and applied via UCAS on Sept 6th. Should I expect a response next week? Has anyone else received an offer for 2025?

Curious whether NTU still does LPC course as I think this is the last academic year for it? It may be too late to apply though.

Should I be concerned I still haven’t heard anything from NTU? I’ve received three other offers and just waiting on NTU as it’s my first choice.

Hi,

It's great to hear you've applied to study at NTU, and you're thinking of making us your first choice!

We expect that our Admissions team will start sending out offers for Undergraduate applications over the next few weeks, so keep an eye on your UCAS Hub Page for further updates. You may also receive an E-mail from our Admissions team as soon as a change is made to your application, so it can be helpful to ensure you have your details up to date.

Sometimes we may request further information, such as a portfolio or more information about your current qualifications, or we may send you an invitation to interview should the course require it. You can check the course requirements on our undergraduate course pages, and we will let you know the best way to send any further information to the team.

I hope this helps, let us know if you have any further questions!

Hi,

You can learn more about NTU's policy and practice regarding transfers here: Student transfer. Usually, your current modules will be assessed by a course academic, and, together with our Admissions team, they will be able to advise you further on the point of entry you would be suitable for.

I would highly recommend speaking to our Applicant Enquiries team who can advise you in detail about this process, as well as assist you throughout your application. You can reach them using our Ask NTU Form or by calling +44(0)115 8484 200.

I hope this helps, let us know if you have any other questions!

Hi,

It's great to hear you're interested in our BSc Computer Science course!

The opportunities for placements for our students can be far reaching, and, with support from our Employability team, we can help you secure workplace experience with companies like Siemens, Pinewood Technologies, GE Healthcare. Some of our students have also worked with Hewlet Packard and IBM or opted for opportunities abroad through our study abroad programmes.

We also offer opportunities to get involved with emerging AI technologies, such as participating in the certified Microsoft Azure AI fundamentals programme.

If you've not had the chance already, I would highly encourage attending one of our upcoming open days to hear directly from our staff and students about the opportunities with Computer Science.

I hope this helps, let us know if you have any questions!

Hi,
It's great to hear you're interested in both our Architecture and Interior Architecture and Design courses!

Please rest assured that each of your applications will be considered individually on their own merits, and shouldn't interfere with each other. We understand that it can be stressful making a decision between two courses, so keeping your options open while you decide can be extremely helpful, especially while still studying.

If you have any concerns about your application, especially as you may want to talk in more detail about any potential transfers, I would highly recommend reaching out to our Admissions team who would be more than happy to discuss your applications in detail.

I hope this helps, let us know if you have any questions!

Hi NTU, I just applied for your games art course! I went to the open day and thought it was amazing, I used to be a student at teesside university studying concept art but I took a gap year a few weeks into my first semester of year 1 because I began struggling with being lonely. I have my foundation year grades from the university and applied with those a long with my GCSES and College grades but college and GCSE arent very strong and my foundation year grades are definitely my best. Do you take foundation year grades into consideration? Thank you so much.

Hi @AimeeUni33,
I'm glad to hear you had a great time at our open day this weekend!

We try to take all relevant qualifications into consideration when considering applications, including foundation years and access to higher education qualifications, however due to the highly specialised nature of these courses we often have to do so on a case by case basis, working closely with our course academics to fully assess them. I would recommend contacting our Admissions team directly to discuss your application in more detail, as they will be able to provide information on what we'll need to assess your foundation year fully.

I hope this helps, let us know if you have any questions!
