A level practical components

Hello, I am a private candidate currently self-studying Maths, Bio A SNAB & Chem at A-level using SavemyExams (let’s hope it does what it says).

I’m studying Edexcel A-levels.

My question of desperation is; can I take the linear approach (all exams at the end only), and is the practical endorsements necessary to take??! I do not have access to a lab or equipment, and since I’m a private candidate, I have to self-fund and practice fees are through the roof (up in the £1000s).

HELP.

Please and thanks xo

Depends on the degree subject you are aiming at and the individual Uni.

Many Unis do not require the practical endorsement, or will make an exception for Home Schooling / Distance Learning. You will need to contact each one individually to ask about their policy.

I just emailed St Andrews Uni, Scotland regarding their medicine course, and apparently they are not required for A-level science.
