Hi,

I'm currently in my second year studying Business and Management at UCLan! I've had an excellent experience so far and enjoyed learning about different strategies various corporations use to be a global success 🌎️.

If you have any questions about what it's like to study business, or any other general questions, please feel free to ask me 😊.

Hey everyone!

Congratulations on your A-level results! 🎉

I'm excited to share that currently the Business and Management degree at the University of Central Lancashire is open for clearing! As I'm about to enter my third year on this course, I'd love to share with you why I know it's an excellent choice! 🥳

Teaching quality
I have found the teaching quality at UCLan to be excellent! Through the first year, you will build a strong foundation of management skills, so once you dive into more complex topics, you have the knowledge to support your understanding 📚️! Additionally, we are ranked 6th in the UK for academic support 🏆️. Personally, this support has been hugely beneficial; tutors are always just a message, email or call away, with many being happy to meet you in person when support is needed. This support is the main reason I've been able to acheive top grades, therefore making my degree more worthwhile.

Placement Year
The option of a placement year is always a desirable opportunity. It provides you a chance to get work experience, which sets you apart from other graduates when applying for jobs. These experiences can take place all over the world, therefore many students use this time to experience a new culture, alongside embracing the excellent networking opportunity 🌴.

Course Modules
I found the modules, especially the optional ones, allowed me to gain an array of knowledge and skills 🧠. For example, while I wanted to prioritise management, I still had the option to do a module on marketing, which has greatly increased my skill set and employability 📈.

Diverse Assignments
Having the opportunity to show and develop skills through individual assignments alongside group projects is extremely valuable. Group work allows you to develop and prove your ability to work within a team 👫. Additionally, practical assignments provides real practice on tasks you may be expected of within the workplace. My favourite was filming promotional videos about the local city, which was also a great chance to bond with my peers as we explored this new city together 🏙️!

If you want to make great connections, develop a diverse array of skills and be taught be highly knowledgeable and engaging tutors, then apply for Business and Management through clearing at the University of Central Lancashire! 📞

Please feel free to ask me any questions,
