Imperial computing Course

I’m applying to imperial computing Meng for 2025 entry. Does their application process require an interview? I’ve heard it does but on their website they say the dont conduct interviews usually

Interviews are no longer routine for people who are likely to get an offer is the message they are saying. They used to be, but will no longer be.

Interesting, I wonder why this is. I know they're introducing TMUA, but interviews never played a huge part in the admissions process (the majority of those interviewed got offers anyway, and it was almost as if the interview day was more of a compulsory open day experience)
