Hey it’s Maya!! Some of you may know me from my GCSE GYG 🙏 currently in Sixth Form studying the subjects
Physics
Chemistry
Mathematics
for A-levels!!
This is probably my time to actually be active on TSR again too 😭🙏🙏

Hey guys!!! It’s quite literally been a month since I started this GYG so I ought to give you a massive info dump on what happened
I started a new sixth form, a little more further away than my old school. It’s bigger but it holds more people so it looks quite small 😭😭 these first few weeks have been pretty okay!! Honestly the environment is quite easy to fit into but our year is massive so I’m like seeing new people each day ☠️ but it’s nice to know new people
I’m also one of the first people to enter school and the last to leave 💔 but I lowkey get more work done in school than at home LOL so I guess it’s good in a way
I also got a detention just yesterday and it was set for next week ☠️☠️☠️ The one time I gave in half attempted homework I immediately got a detention — and I went to the wrong one too…my detention was next week and I accidentally went to yesterday’s one 😭 only 30 minutes after school but whatever
Been spending a lot of money on school food and gotta stop😭😭😭 but it’s too good and I’m enjoying these free periods a lot. A lot of these weeks have just been recapping gcse content but finally we’re getting on to A level stuff… and I did my first chemistry practical !! It was kind of tricky bc if you messed up you had to restart it. Thank the lord for double periods but I managed to get it right the second attempt
That’s it really for the first month!! Honestly it’s been alright but I keep forgetting that these years really count and I gotta concentrate for reals now 💔

Heyy im also in yr12 and this is my gyg . I'll follow your journey and I totally agree with the food part. I'm gonna make my parents go broke with all the money I've been spending on food internally and externally🥲. Also HELP my sixth form doesn't have detentions which when I think abt it is weird I have no clue what they do instead
