reapplying to uni in gap year

has anyone been accepted into uni of bristol with ABC for a course that wanted ABB on a gap year? idk how lenient they would be for the international business management course (the one i want to apply for) and also bc i’m applying with achieved grades would that make me less likely to be accepted? i called and the guy said that my grades were low but he couldn’t give me a definite answer. 😭😭 also this course was in clearing this year but only for international students idk why

If you don't match the entry requirements, its a risk - especially with achieved grades as the Uni knows you can't improve those grades, and realistically if you are taking a gap year you could actually be resitting at least one A levels to get better grades, so why should they be charitable.

As a result of increasing visa restrictions by the last government, fewer Internationals are applying to study in the UK. This meant that many more courses than usual were in Clearing for 'International only' in order to top-up their International numbers.

Apply to Bristol, but be prepared for No, and make your other choices more realistic.
