LSE CHANCES without Further Math

Hey so Im applying to math WITH econ, didn't do fm at AS/A level even tho school offers it, what are my chances?

Stats:
International
IGCSES: 999888777
Predicted ( A*A*A) maths econ and history in that order

If I get exceptionally high in the TMUA, like im looking at this it doesnt seem that bad lol, and ive done extra-curriculars relating to econ and maths + a good PS, what are my chances? thank you!

Given that FM is "expected" if offered by your school, your chances are probably a lot slimmer than your alternative approach based on economic history.

Only 5% of successful candidates dont take further maths but if you do exceptionally in the tmua and have a good personal statement (ideally with some mathematical concepts) you might get an offer

I imagine your chances are approaching zero. It's fully a maths degree you're applying to, at a university which states they expect you to take FM if your school offers it.

If you want to apply there then you probably will need to look to do A-level FM in a gap year and apply then.

That said there are probably better maths courses than at LSE realistically (including those that don't require FM).
