will I get into sixth form with being suspended multiple times?

I’m predicted extremely good grades for my GCSEs however my record doesn’t say so will I still get into a good sixth form and uni even if I have been suspended multiple times?

I went to school with a guy who was seemingly never out of Saturday detention and now he is a research assistant for Cambridge Uni. School clearly didn’t work for him in the traditional sense but his brain was operating at the right level regardless of his ‘acting out’. If you’re that clever and motivated it’ll generally work out. It’s the clever but lazy that get found out fast.
