I messed up my A levels. What should I do?

I was in year 12 this year and I foolishly messed up my A levels and didn’t get back into my sixth form as I didn’t meet the entry requirements. I didn’t realise how hard the work was gonna be and even though I revised constantly it wasn’t enough. Since I didn’t get back into my sixth form I applied to colleges and they said that I would need to do year 12 again and pick different subjects which I was okay with since Ik I am better with essay based subjects rather than Stem subjects. So I applied and they said they’ll review my application and it’s been a a few weeks and school has started now and I still haven’t heard back from them I’ve emailed them and they said they’ll let me know soon but I have since found out they have no more spaces left and they didn’t even tell me that and I called the other college I applied to and they said to apply online but every course was full. And I have no idea what to do now because I really want to do A levels because I know I won’t make the same mistakes again but no one has accepted me and it’s making me really worried as i want to be able to go to uni. I’m gonna call other sixth forms and see what they say but I have no idea what to do now so please leave any suggestions that you’ll think will help.

My friend was in the same position as you, she didn't do well in stem so she left her college and went to a different one where she swapped physics, maths and English for English, history and psychology without repeating year 12. She achieved AAB, and the A's were in the subjects she had only been learning for a year. So you could stay and repeat or you can leave and have a year to do new a levels in with the experience of the mistakes you made in year 12.

Because she left that college, and the college she came to is pretty lax. The attitude is: your grades your problem. Advice will be given and you can chose not to take it. If you decide to do that make sure you revise ASAP, consistency is KEY for A*s I’m talking about starting by January at the very latest, wish I did that honestly.

that would honestly be a dream for me rn because after 2 years of trying to just do my a levels, im now only given the choice to start from year 1 , book exams and self study or just do something else with my life, colleges around here are just seriously messed up
