bad a level combination for maths ??

hiyaa im currently in year 12 and im taking maths biology and psychology and was planning to self study further maths however i HATE biology like its not what I thought it would be and im seriously considering dropping it because i dont need it but since I didnt get the points at my school (85 points or more) to do four a levels if i took further maths at school instead of self study i would have to do maths further maths and psychology

im also planning on sitting the step because i want to do maths at a top university however i feel my a level combination may be perceived as weak compared to applicants i see online who got all 9s at gcse and four a stars with physics/chemistry/cs etc and epq despite getting good scores on the step

will i even be considered?? im really passionate about maths and psychology and do a TON of wider reading so im sure i can get A* in them and hopefully do well in the step

any advice would be GREATLY appreciated !

As far as I know doing three with double maths is perfectly fine for Maths degrees. Check some entry requirements for courses youre interested in.
You’ll be fine so long as you research typical offers.

As an example here’s what Bath say:

“A*A*A in three A levels including A*A in Mathematics and Further Mathematics.”

They’ve no other preferences. Some unis might but they’ll be very clear on their websites about this. Unis don’t have secret lists of ‘weak’ subjects.
