Do you need olympiad maths for maths at Trinity college, Cambridge
I want to get into Trinity College, Cambridge, but my mother says I have to practise olympiad maths to get in. I hate doing olympiad maths and I am NOT a maths olympian, so I am against this. Can you get in without olympiad maths if you get top grades in STEP and A levels?

You don't need Olympiad maths, but you need to be at the top end of that level to be competitive. What is so special that makes you want to go to Trinity though? Applying for Maths at Trinity is one of the best ways NOT to get in to Cambridge.
