Gor BBBCC from S5, doing AH and 2 Highers

2) What course at Strathclyde do you have your eyes on? And why?

Primary Education. Have never wanted to do anything else.

3) What grades did you get/are you predicted to get at GCSE and Sixth Form?

predicted AH B, Highers B and C in S6

4) Why Strathclyde specifically?

Close to home, family went there, easy to get to, good reputation for teaching, liked the open days.

5) Which admissions tests do you have to sit if any, and when will you start preparing for them?

none

6) Will you be attending any Open Days?

Have attended two. Found them a bit pointless TBH as its the same information that can be found online. Maybe be more interesting if I didn't live so close to glasgow and wasn't going to be a commuting student.

7) How are you feeling about starting University?
Fine, can't wait to leave school.

8) Other unis you're interested in?

Stirling and Glasgow

No reply from Strathy. From the 3 unis applied for, within the week offers from Glasgow and Aberdeen.

Obtained AAAB in S5 highers, doing AH & 3 further highers this year in S6

2) What course at Strathclyde do you have your eye on? And why?
Politics international Relations & Spanish

Love Humanities subjects and did Higher French & Spanish in S5 and doing AH Spanish. I’m also a language ambassador. I did Modern Studies in S5 and doing Politics & Geography higher this year.

3) What grades did you get/are you predicted toget at GCSE and Sixth Form?
Got AAAB in highers. Predicted A, 2x B/A & AH B in S6.

Why Strathclyde specifically?
Love Glasgow and heard many great reports about Strath.

5) Which admissions tests do you have to sit ifany, and when will you start preparing for them?
none.

6) Will you be attending any Open Days?Have attended one.

7) How are you feeling about starting University?
Can’t wait!

Aberdeen, Edinburgh, St Andrews & Stirling.
