Law Personal Statement

Would it be a good idea to theme my personal statement around a question at the start? I’m quite interested in law at its most basic level (where it comes from and whatnot) so could I start it off by asking “where does law come from?” And then using all my super curriculars surrounding that specific topic (books, courses, articles, etc) make a good personal statement. I would probably take it from a few different angles (Legislature,Judicial,Constitutional, international and natural/ethical).

idk if this'll be much help, but i quite literally applied to law with a criminology personal statement as i decided to switch last minute. i kind of started it off saying that i was interested in understanding crime and criminals was an important aspect of the modern world and something that i felt passionate about. i wrote a small paragraph about that, and that's about it the rest was more about work experience/ how my alevels related to the degree i wished to study.

I probably should’ve added that I plan on applying to Oxford. From what I’ve seen they care more about subject specific super curriculars rather than extras like work experience, jobs, etc. Thank you anyways.

I'm a fellow applicant (so take this with a pinch of salt), but in Oxford's personal statement webinars, they said questions are a very reasonable starting point because it shows what sparked your interest, as long as you answer your question and go through the journey of how you got there.
