Hi @BellaF25 if you're worried, you can try calling the relevant Admissions team to confirm everything. You can find all the Admissions contact details here: Manchester Met Admissions. If you're unable to get through to them, you can try dropping them an email or contacting our Course Enquiries team who may be able to help: 0161 247 6969.
I hope this helps 🙂

Just called and told bluntly to look at UCAS track “we don’t send confirmation of acceptance emails” - not very impressed having to chase this as the timescales on the website are way out. Not a good impression - starting to think I’ve made the wrong choice accepting this as a firm offer.

Hi @BellaF25 I'm so sorry that this has been your experience, please accept our apologies. We understand this is a stressful time but please be assured that if you have chosen us as your firm choice, you’ll receive your accommodation invite soon. I would advise keeping an eye on your Spam/Junk folder, if you're not doing so already. In the meantime, you're welcome to contact our Accommodation team ([email protected] or 0161 247 5928) who should be able to advise.

Also it is worth mentioning that we have an accommodation guarantee for all new full-time undergraduate students: Manchester Met accommodation guarantee, so hopefully that is reassuring.

Hope this helps - Mel 🙂

Hello! I recently got accepted to study Illustration & Animation at ManMet. I'm an international student from Turkey and I'm really excited to start my study
I have also applied for accommodation (at Birley Townhouse, specifically Warde since I hate all the partying and getting drunk stuff, so I went for the chill accommodation) I was wondering if there is any way I could get in contact with my flatmates early on?
Also, I'll need a CAS number to start my visa process, I think they are supposed to give it after the 5000 pound deposit, right? When do I get a mail for that (earliest?) I want to get my visa stuff started as soon as possible since it can take a bit long in Turkey...

Hi @crowooze

Congratulations on your offer! That's great news and we're looking forward to welcoming you to Man Met in September.

We will be sending out Unibuddy Community invites next month for those that have firm offers with us. Community is a platform that allows students starting with us in September to chat with others on their course, in their accommodation, and who have similar interests, prior to enrolling, so this is a perfect place to meet your flatmates before you arrive in Manchester. So keep an eye our for your invite (I'd check in your Spam/Junk folder just in case it drops in there). If you haven't got your invite by the end of April then please let us know: [email protected].

You can find information about the CAS process at Man Met here: Manchester Metropolitan University: How to Apply for your CAS. To request your CAS you don't need to have paid your tuition fee deposit, but you will need to for your CAS to be issued. I hope this helps.

See you in September!
😊

Hi @Aroonn

Congratulations on your MA Architecture offer. Amazing news!

There is no official deadline for accepting this offer, but we recommend you allow time for sorting finance, accommodation, any visa applications etc, so sooner rather than later.

If you're concerned in any way, please get in touch with our Postgraduate Arts and Humanities Admissions team to discuss this: [email protected] or +44 (0)161 247 2968.

Hope this helps.

Hello,
I've accepted my unconditional offer and paid my tuition deposit last Friday. Please, how soon would I get my CAS?

Hi!

I am afraid we can't provide an exact timeline, however, if you have accepted your Unconditional offer and paid your tuition fee deposit it can take a few days for this all to be processed. We recommend keeping an eye on communications from [email protected] and this will include a specific link for you to fill out your information for your CAS.

Hope this helps!
Carly 🙂

Hello! I'm an international student from Malaysia, and I received my conditional offer for BA (Hons) Architecture. However, I have not yet received any emails or news for my unconditional offer, despite having sent the necessary documents many weeks ago. When will I hear the updates? I'm a bit worried, as visa applications in Malaysia may take quite a long time.

Hi,

Congratulations on your offer!

The Manchester School of Architecture is run collaboratively by Manchester Met and the University of Manchester (UoM) and the BA (Hons) Architecture course is typically managed by the Admissions team at UoM. You can contact them at [email protected] or on +44 (0)161 275 0969. They should be able to help.

Thanks,
Mel

Hello everyone:biggrin:
Applications for 2025 are now open on UCAS!
This thread is to ask any questions and talk to others who plan to apply to study at Man Met.
Take a look at the courses we offer here
Let's get to know each other with some questions:
> What course(s) are you applying to?
> How are you feeling about starting university?
> What are you most excited about?
If you've got any other questions, feel free to post them in this thread and myself and our student reps will answer as soon as we can:smile:
Looking forward to getting to know you all!

H.
Hope you doing well.

Hi @Amy Malik

If you have an unconditional offer with us and have accepted this you should then receive your CAS request form within a few days. If you are still waiting for this, please check your Spam/ Junk folder first before getting in touch with our CAS team at [email protected] or on +44 (0)161 247 1252.

Once you submit your CAS request form, it usually takes 2-3 weeks for you to get your CAS letter. We can only issue your CAS letter if you have paid your tuition fee deposit. If you need to chase your CAS letter, please contact our CAS team, and they will be able to help.

It is worth mentioning that you can begin your visa application before you receive your CAS (although you will only be able to submit your completed visa application once you receive your CAS). You can find more guidance here: Manchester Met: applying for your CAS.

Hope this helps,
Mel 😊
