EYITT

I’m starting my undergraduate degree, and I know that I want to be an early years teacher. And to get my eyitt after uni I need relevant experience in the industry. I have already worked in the SEN department of a primary school for a year, being really involved with young kids with learning + behavioural disabilities. But I don’t think this is enough, and while I am doing my degree, I really want some other sort of experience in the early years teaching environment. I have no other qualifications, and a lot of places require PGCE’s, which I don’t have, so does anyone know anywhere I could look to get relevant experience. preferably paid, but I’m not too bothered about that, so internships etc are okay! Thank you!!

Try to see if your experience within the SEN department constitutes enough experience for supply? Most supply who have worked within my school can share a preference for a specific job then only accept them?

Failing that, I'd try working in private day nurseries?
