any recommended revision channels/tips for particular gcse subjects?
Here are some good resources/channels:

Science:

•

Cognito: I use it to understand the topic I'm learning better as it's really good at visually presenting the info

•

Freesciencelessons: After that I use this channel to get the key info for that topic and I use this with the specification so I know I'm covering everything

•

PMT: this isn't a channel but the PMT notes for science topics are really good and pretty much are everything you need to know

Maths:

•

GCSE Maths Tutor: is the best maths youtube channel in my opinion, it has such a variety of videos to help with maths so i definitely recommend

•

Maths Genie: again this isn't a channel but it's so good to use to challenge yourself with higher grade/more difficult topics which also at the same time makes you practice your maths skills so it's really helpful

English:

•

Glow up your grades: although Mr Bruff and Mr Salles teaches english are amazing channels, this one is so underrated, it gives top grade analysis and is helpful for both literature and language

Those are the main resources I use for my core subjects, one exception is PMT as it covers so many subjects so I use their notes for pretty much every subject I can. One big tip from me is to definitely start using past paper questions as you revise your GCSE topics, because embedding the mark scheme into your notes makes it a lot more effective.

Another tip is to use the specification for content heavy subjects if you don't already, it acts like a checklist for every single topic and it's great to filter out what info you need to know and what info is just unnecessary.

I hope I helped and good luck!
For Maths, I found Mathsgenie and GCSE Maths Tutor very useful for explaining any topics that I didn't understand. With maths, it's all about practice questions, especially the ones you struggle with.

For English Literature, Stacey Reay has really detailed, unique analysis that got me a grade 9 (depends on the texts you do though). I used flashcards so I put the quote on one side of the flashcard, and analysis on the other.

For Science, Freesciencelessons and Cognito are great. Once again I did flashcards and I also did past paper questions.

Do you want revision channels /tips for any other subjects?
get the pdf of the specification/teaching guidance for each subject. ask chatgpt to read from specific pages depending which topics ur revising and ask them to create summaries, notes, detailed flashcards or practice questions for you. i do this and it's really helpful
