Sixth Form Bags!!

I’ve just started year 12 studying bio chem and maths and initially used a medium longchamp (big mistake). I had originally planned to bring one day folder and put work in my three lever arch files but all of my teachers are now advising us to bring one day folder per subject :frown:

I need to find a good bag which will fit 2-3 A4 ring binders along with my iPad and pencil case. Help a girl out. Will the large longchamp be big enough? Should I use a backpack instead?

Is it possible for u to keep ur folders in ur locker overnight? I used to just have one work folder where I put my stuff in that I needed that night, and kept everything else at school xx

you don't need one day folder per subject, you can get through sixth for just as well with 1 day folder for all three. This only works tho if you are on top of your organisation. You did say you had an ipad so could you not just store your work on the ipad instead of having paper copies aswell ? just a thought, you could always scan in paper documents into the ipad too so you'd have to carry less

Hi! Just finished with college (and now on a gap year) and I used one lever arch file with divides (one for each of my three subjects: biology, chemistry and maths too hahah) and only took that to college! With this “day folder” I made sure to keep it up-to-date and remove any topic packs (basically the work we got from college for that topic) which we had finished and keep only the topic packs we were currently using in class in my “day folder”. Then at home, I had three more lever arch folders (one for each subject, colour coded heheh and by the end of my 2 years at college I had 6 folders because I bought another 3 for my second year to follow the same procedure) and would put the completed topic packs/work into there so it was easily accessible for revision! Also, my backpack was medium sized (Herschel)!

I know other people who, instead of one “day folder” had three of those button-folders/wallets (yk, the plastic ones) and then had a similar system at home (with the whole 3 folders per subject per year)!
