LSE economics or maths with economics

While BSc Economics is more competitive and prestigious at LSE, with the course being their flagship, I'm wondering if doing maths with economics will disadvantage me in any way? As in, would it be a mistake to switch from BSc Econ to Maths with econ at LSE? Because I much prefer the maths with econ course, and it will open more doors for me

Switch in terms of your application or are you already doing the BSc Economics currently and want to switch?
