UCAS Grades Mix-up

Mixed up my GCSE English grades for UCAS being English Lit and Eng Lang— A 7 and 8 on UCAS when it is actually the opposite way around. I have been asked for GCSE certificates by my university. Can this be serious?

Yes it can because then they will think you lied to them. Maybe you should phone up UCAS and explain your situation, i am sure they will help you.

I have already emailed the school explaining to them that it was a simple admin mistake. I mean why would they think that I lied to them when there is no advantage in this, I mean one GCSE grade was up and the other was down, it was clearly a mistake with very similar subjects. My schools also went throught it while sending the grades and both us didn’t pick on this. So I hope they don’t down the lying route

At application stage you can change them quite easily -
Request to amend qualifications listed on your application | | UCAS

If you are now enrolling, then phone the Uni and explain.
Ask your school to email them if they get tricky about it.
