How do I find motivation to revise and how often should I study?

I did my Year 10 GCSE Mocks in June. I ended up getting:

Maths - 6
Further Maths - 7
Biology - 7
Physics - 9
Chemistry - 6
English Literature - 8
English Language - 7
History - 6
Sociology - 6
French - 6

I’ve always lacked the motivation to study and I procrastinate a lot. I literally start revising on the morning of my tests - usually waking up around 5am. I was hoping for all grades at 7-9 by my actual GCSE exams. However, I don’t know exactly how to get there. I can’t get motivated at all and I have no idea how much I should be revising a day. If anyone could help, I’d appreciate it greatly. Thank you!

the main thing is not to overdo it your only in year 10 and i only really started getting those grades 7-9 when i started revising properly, when i was in year 11 last year i would come home and do my homework immediately and get it out of the way you don't want to spend too much time doing homework, then i would spend 2-4 hours revisiting the things i did in lesson that day or a previous days and revisit information is a very good method as it tells your brain every time you revisit it that you need to remember it and it stores it into your long term memory and then come back a little later and "blurting" the information out onto a plain paper trying to see all the things you can remember and then do exam question to maximize result hope that helps.

its not necessarily about the quantity of the revison but the quality. idealy you could have a timetable to help you manage when to revise what subject (making sure you allow yourself to have free time). you might find it helpful revising in a different setting than home or even with other people. by february/march you should revise more, focusing more on practice papers, unless you still struggle on the content. also!! motivate yourself by giving yourself something to look forward to, for example going out on the weekend to see friends or watching a movie before you sleep, it can even be something as small as playing games online, calling with friends or eating something you love. anything to motivate yourself. one that also helped me was the fact all of it was going to pay off due to the fact you get roughly a month more summer holidays than anyone else. :u:
