It was good to be fair. Unsure if they change the structure for different ones but there were a few group exercises and then written. I watched a load of YouTube videos on general group work tasks and written which helped

Hi could you possibly link the videos that helped you also how was the final interview. Thank you

Hi guys, I just received this email from RSM:
'Well done! We’ve reviewed your job simulation and are pleased to let you know that you have passed.
You are now on the waiting list to attend one of our virtual assessment centres and we will be in contact with you in due course regarding the next steps.
Once again, congratulations on passing your job simulation and we hope to meet you at one of our assessment centres shortly.'
I am unsure of what to make of this, but am guessing this essentially means virtual assessment centres have already been booked, hence I will only have an assessment centre if the role is not filled? Thank you

Hi guys, I had my AC yesterday and was told I've been successful and I'm now through to the final interview for Tax! Does anyone have any tips for the final interview, it's also apparently known as the meet and greet if that helps!

Hi, Do you have any tips or advice for the job simulation

Group task was just a discussion - I would say they are very similar to what you can find online, same goes for the micro exercises. With the micro exercises, make sure that you are concise and can back up your points with evidence (either from the brief or from your own knowledge around the subject).

Are these exercises difficult

I only prepared strengths-based questions and that worked for me!

Were they just the basic strength based interview questions about your strengths in like skills

How did you prepare for these group and individual tasks, e.g. how did upyiu find resources online, did you use graduates first website? I have an AC for rsm audit coming up and have no clue how to prepare.

It was surprisingly easy for the data tasks I found. I'm not a maths student by any means, (I actually study languages!) but I didn't have any issues.
It's more about if you can tell what the data is suggesting, for example: is X growing/stagnating, if so, at what rate and what does this signify and how does it impact the overall tasks?

Would you say it’s important to pick out key points instead of explaining everything from the slides

Has anyone got tips for the final partner interview?

I emailed them today because I have mine next week and was told this: "The interview will be a mixture of skills based questions and trying to get to know you better and if you are a good fit for RSM"

does anyone know how long it usually takes to hear back after the final partner interview?

I applied for a school leaver role and got my response after 3 weeks, I’m assuming it’ll be a similar wait time for the grad role.

How long did you wait after your job simulation?
Got an email saying I passed the next day and invited to assessment centre. Date for that came around October maybe? passed that and got invited to final partner interview, one day later got the offer

Basically similar to the one you did in the assessment centre, make sure you know about the company and the role and then its just general STAR questions

Was there any technical questions?

Nope, not even in the final partner interview. Atleast for tax grad role
