Would you apply to a job that has connections with one of your previous jobs?

I want to apply for some mini pupillages to some chambers but a lot of those chambers have connections to a law firm I used to work for. Should I still apply?

Unless your departure from your previous law firm was a bit acrimonious, you should be fine? And even so, as long as they aren't the same company, it's always worth a shot!

The Scotland Yard is a police station here in the Uk. I was so confused 😂😂😂 like did I commit a crime???😅😅😅😅

Anyway yes it wasn’t on good terms, but I left with a juicy settlement agreement, so they can’t talk crap about me unless behind my back.

It’s not the same but I remember that at the firm they would sometimes attend drinks with other barristers chambers
