Should i apply for dentistry this year?

I've just begun year 13 and wondering if it's even worth applying for dentistry this year.
I really want to study dentistry however being a realistic... I'm currently predicted A in psych, C in chem and C in biology.
I've spoken to my chemistry teacher and she would be willing to predict me a A as I've gotten A* on all the tests since the mock but I have no biology chances now to prove myself until January.. after the deadline.

I didn't manage to get any work experience as no clinics nearby offered any (only 2 days in October after the deadline).

My UCAT is on the 14th September in a week and I'm currently averaging 2500.

I've volunteered at a charity shop and am part of a cricket team aswell as doing henna for manual dexterity.

Realistically, would applying this year be a waste of time as I most likely won't get in or is it worth a go.
I'm open to taking a gap year

Hello,
So i just finished year 13 i got my results and i got ACC in the same subjects as you, your school might try to tell you not to apply for dentistry and do biomed instead because of your predicted grades (this is what happened to me)
HOWEVER do not let that stop you there is always 'a point' if its something you really want to do as right now i am resitting my a levels to study dentistry next year; there is ALWAYS a way.
So in my opinion try to convince your teachers to higher your predicted grades so you can apply but regardless if you can or cant just get your grades UP that's literally all that matters so you don't end up like me resitting bio and chem because you may be able to get into clearing on results day you never know.
In conclusion, if dentistry is TRULY something you want to do then go for it but if not then that's also okay.
