i need advice on what a levels i should do

Hi i need help with deciding between doing Economics or maths alongside chemistry and biology for my a levels. I got a 6 in maths and i have a D2 in business btec. I am leaning towards economics because it has less maths involved. But am unsure what uni courses these a levels can get me in to and if it’s a good combination
Id suggest you take economics unless the uni courses you’re looking at require maths. You’re business grade is higher than your maths grade and to be honest I think with a 6 in gcse maths you would likely struggle at a level whereas with economics you might even have a bit of an advantage going into the course having done very well on business prior to this. Hope this helps

Hi, I think it would be helpful for you to speak to your teachers and get their opinion. Maths would be helpful with biology and chemistry since there is quite a bit of maths involved with both those subjects. However, it seems like you maybe don't enjoy maths that much if you are picking another subject because there is less maths involved. Do you have any idea what you want to study at uni? It could be useful to look at a few different courses that interest you and check the entry requirements to see what alevels they are looking for. Good luck!
