Staffordshire Uni or Norwich University of the Arts (Game Art)

I can't decide between the two. I want to do:
- Concept Art for Films and Games at Staffordshire
or
- Game art and design at Norwich

Any thoughts? Or anyone doing these courses, what would you recommend?

Thank you

Staffordshire!
Because of the support you get from tutors and lecturers in general.
This is coming from someone just finishing my third year in Staffs.

Hiya @leah5000, I hope that you're well. I'm Charlotte, a Graphic Design student at Norwich Uni Arts. Choosing a place to study can be a really tough decision. Have you attended any open days? We have a few coming up which you can find via our website. Alternatively, you can request a prospectus here.

From my experience, I can say that the tutors and staff here are extremely helpful and supportive. And being on an arts campus has been a great experience for me so far. If you have any questions or queries, you can contact some course specific ambassadors of ours via Unibuddy on this link: Ask a Student at Norwich Uni Arts, who will be more than happy to answer any questions or talk through life on our campus/ the course(s) that you wish to study.

Good luck with choosing somewhere to study, and thank you so much for considering us!

Good afternoon Leah!

I'm Jodie, a third and final year student here at Staffs studying Game Art! Just wanted to jump in here and give you some insight and hopefully helpful bits and pieces from my experience studying here at Staffs for the last 3 years

While I may not take the concept art course directly, here on the games art course we work closely with the concept artists for certain projects so there's a bit of a crossover as both departments are very close with each other. The staff that teach the concept course also teach some of our classes and they are not just super lovely, but also really knowledgeable and want to help you achieve the best grades possible. Not just that, but most of the teachers here have past experience with working in the industry for the course they teach so they know what to do and help guide you in the right direction to ensure you do your very best 🙂

I also have a friend on the concept art course and she absolutely loves it, never heard her talk negatively about the course at all

If you have any more questions, please feel free to reach out an I would be more than happy to help! Good luck in whatever you decide to do, I'm sure you will smash it!!
