Can I ask what Oxford and Cambridge uni really care about ? And what should I do to stand out and what are some things that are waste of time counting towards my application as a candidate..?

You’ll have to be more specific about which courses you’re interested in, because the answer to your question can vary substantially based on the subject — for instance, admissions tests are extremely important for some, while others don’t even have one.

Have a look at the relevant pages on the university's website. Oxford doesn't conceal its interests. There is no secret code, hack, or spell. Oxford isn't Hogwarts.
