Access to HE - Dilpoma Question

I was studying a two year version of an Access to HE diploma, I was offered a two year variation due to extenuating circumstances, related to diagnosed conditions, the college was accommodating. However they abruptly ended the course in 2020 due to world events. Despite submitting no graded course work, they passed me with around 60-70 UCAS credits. I asked them in an email how this was fair, as I was not expected to submit a graded assignment due to my circumstances at that point. They claimed to have no record of me being on a two year version, the teacher at the time left, and a new one replaced them, this occurring during a personal crisis.

I'm now studying a Access to HE, however I can't get a loan due to already having one and having "passed" an access course, what are my options and do you have any advice in regards to where I can get help?

This is a really odd situation, I have worked on an Access to HE program for over 10 years and have never come across this before.

Aside from the coursework did you do any other methods of assessment? Providers will often do in class tests, practical's, and presentations as part of your assessments.

I know in the year of the Covid pandemic, learners were given 'predicted' grades based on the grades they had already achieved, and were usually able to attend classes still in order to achieve better than their predicted grades. The following full academic year that followed this, this did not occur.

If you have been awarded credits then they should have been approved/ticked off at the end of year exam board, so the awarding body, try to find out who it is, I know it is Open Awards in the northwest, should have a record of any credits that you have.

In regards to the assessments I submitted ungraded assignments, I was asked to submit a graded assignment, which due to a health crisis, I couldn't provide at that time. They provided me with a qualification, however it's 70 UCAS points, their staff told me it was worthless.

Do you have any advice in regards to what my options are, should I pursue legal recourse, or just accept this treatment?
