GCSE maths for Oxford and Imperial medicine.

I’m going into year 12, and just finished GCSEs. Firstly I wanted to ask if my results are high enough to apply to Russel group unis such as imperial and Oxford, my results were 9998888877, and I am going to take 2 further GCSEs in year 12 (my home language). As I got a 7 in maths should I retake it in year 12, or will a 7 in maths affect my application to Oxford?

It may as Oxford use an algorithm with bmat scores and GCSEs to decide who gets an interview- I’m not sure if this is different for internationals. Should be fine for imperial. But honestly would not recommend Oxford unless you want to be a researcher and not work as a doctor at all. I once met a consultant who said they can always tell an Oxford medic as they lack soft skills. Go for imperial or ucl
