EPQ or Further Maths AS Level?

Hi,
I just started year 12 and I'm currently doing bio chem math and FM (4 levels are required in my college until December when we can drop one). In the future, I want to do medicine but I'm unsure whether to do an EPQ (medicine related), continue FM as an AS level or do both?

Hey I did a med EPQ and I think it greatly helped my apps. I was able to talk about it in my personal statement, during interviews (during the MMIs I even got to talk abt it for the entirety of one station), and it really gives you a good glimpse of how med is developing. The EPQ is very manageable even in Y13. I found it to be a stress reliever in between mocks and the UCAT and getting an A* is quite easy especially for a med EPQ. Had a friend who also got her offer lowered because of her A* predicted in EPQ. She ended up not meeting the requirements on results day but we think her place was still confirmed because of the A* in EPQ.
