Student Finance sent back birth certificate, but no update?

SFE requested that I send my birth certificate for evidence (I'm British, but a dual citizen who doesn't have/use a British passport, so I couldn't go with that option), so I sent it (5+ weeks ago). They then sent it back (again some weeks ago), but my account hasn't updated at all, and is still saying that I need to send them my birth certificate. It says it can take 4-6 weeks to process so I'm not panicking or anything, just wondering if it should've updated? I'm hoping I don't need to re-send my birth certificate...

We are unable to access accounts and can only provide general information. Do you have any child dependents on your application?

No, I don't - as far as I'm aware, the only thing I needed to do was send my birth certificate.
