Hi, this is some advice for OCR computer science
You should watch the craig'n'dave videos (
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCiOXwirraUAEhj4TUjMxYm4593B2dUPF ) to UNDERSTAND the content.
Then, once you UNDERSTAND it you have to MEMORISE the key points. To do this you should use the OCR SPECIFICATION (
https://www.ocr.org.uk/Images/558027-specification-gcse-computer-science-j277.pdf ) to see what is the EXACT content that you need to memorise.
For example if you want study
Network topologies you would:
1) Find the video in craigndave and then focus on the key concepts that you want to understand (eg learning the star & mesh networks and how they both have advantages and disadvantages)
2) Then you look in the spec what you need to MEMORISE about them, it says '
Advantages and disadvantages of the Star and Mesh topologies', so you would then make REVISION NOTES about 2/3 adv & dis for both topologies.
3) Then you MEMROISE these notes till you can easily recall them in the exam. To do this you could copy paste them onto a flashcard app like ANKI
4) Now in the exam if you get a question about them your brain will straight away recall the adv/dis's then you can apply it to the question and bag those marks!
If you don't want to make the notes yourself you can find them online from websites like STUVIA (has many revision notes). The ones I used were made by 'CSandRS', you can find it by searching 'CsandRS' in the stuvia search bar. They have revision notes following the spec for paper 1, 2 & a coding guide for python. Also you would probably also be bale to find notes for edexcel business
Hope this helps
