Computer Science A level with no gcse ??

I'm enrolled for a computer science a level (along w further maths and economics) but I didn't do a comp sci gcse and I'm kind of anxious about how I'm gonna do. I don't have any prior programming knowledge but I am learning c# on Codecademy. I got a grade 9 for maths and further maths and a grade 8 for physics. Am I gonna be really behind or is the course accommodating for people without a gcse? Idk I'm really anxious and I've got my first class tomorrow.
You'll be fine and also not alone. They'll take into account experience or no experience and build it into the teaching

I do hope you're also enrolled in normal maths as well.

im going to apply for it
and u can ask for extra hmwk from teachers to catch up
but usually they knw some people dont have the knowledge because if teh course is for people that have done computer science gsce only then yes
but u dont usually miss much
good luck

So your a levels are physics. maths, FM and cs? four a levels and you want to learn cs with no knowledge. I did this and I would not recommend- although you can catch up most cs teachers are useless and its a lot to catch up. I'm in year 13 and have done quite a bit to learn c# and catch up I'm still not up to my classmates. Most people who do it, have prior knowledge and its easier for them especially when it comes to doing your project.

So if you have free time, it's important to use it effectively: learn to code while also finding time to relax and play here to stay motivated and avoid burnout.
If you have good grades in math and physics, that's already a great foundation for learning programming and algorithms.
