Yes I love The Owl House! I wish there were more episodes :-/

With year 12, I found it hard at first to establish a routine with revision. But after a couple of weeks I found it easier to revise as I found what worked for me. If you have any other questions let me know, and I will be happy to answer the best I can :-)

Frrr definitely cut too short 😓
Oh ok cool, thank you so much! Just wondering how you managed to fit in extracurriculars/supercurriculars in with school stuff? I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the things we are apparently meant to be doing to help get into uni and stuff, haven't really started anything? I do volunteer but in a charity shop, but i don't think that fits the description of something i could write to apply for anywhere. Sorry for the questions, i dont mind if you dont answer - im just feeling kinda worried atm :')

today:

study period - did some topic questions on savemyexams for biology (haven't done the hard ones yet tho) and i realised i barely understand the topic 😂

after school - put my classics notes onto notion and started the homework for that

need to do:

start the 500 words nature writing piece for a random post online (by sunday)

put my bio question corrections onto Anki

put my chemistry notes from today onto Anki

finish classics hw by next week

finish spanish hw by next week? not sure what it is tho
i'll probably do this stuff during free period tomorrow

and i NEED to get organised this year because last year was pretty bad :teehee: so this weekend ill find a folder at home for spanish and put some dividers in it and maybee by a refill pad

No worries, I don't mind answering any questions you may have :-) It's okay if you haven't started anything yet; you've got enough time to sort some super curriculars out. I usually set aside some time in my schedule to focus on super curriculars, such as reading a chapter of a book in my free time (for example). I also looked online for super curriculars that link to my subject, so I got some inspiration for what to do. I know year 12 can be stressful, but you got this 💪 Feel free to ask any more questions and I'll try my best to answer :-)

today:

Kind of finished classics homework during study period? but it's too long so i'll need to cut it down

Need to do bio homework for next week and still haven't done the anki stuff

I might do an essay instead for the 500 word thing - not feeling super creative right now 😔

Still need to go over chemistry

And need to go over spanish vocab so far

Need to buy textbooks for everything too :'')

soo today in bio we just looked down microscopes, but in chemistry i understand absolutely nothing (what is mass spectrometry helppp) so i had better go through that 😓 but kindaa tired because i stayed back so my teacher could make corrections and stuff for the classics essay and had a music lesson so hopefully i'll get round to all that tomorrow! alsooo tons of vocab from spanish and some odyssey notes to get onto notion

can't believe its already started 😭 i'm just waiting for summer to come back

to do during free period:

the 500 word thing. because otherwise i'll never do it

to do after school tomorrow:

fix classiv essay

chemistry understand (savemyexams topic questions)

to do in the next week:

spanish hw

anki flashcards for chem + bio + spanish

on sunday i could go over science notes

not sure if there's chem hw?

sorry i'm not very productive, i need to get better :<

You sound like you’ve been doing a lot of stuff 🙂 dont burn yourself out trying to do more than you need to just because you feel you need to. It’s only the first few weeks so focus on settling in and finding your feet a bit.

You don't need to apologise for "not being productive". You're making plans for the work you want to do, which is great for staying organised. As DerDracologe mentioned, the first few weeks of a-levels are mainly for settling into your subjects and getting used to the routines so it's okay if you feel like you're not getting 'enough' work done (as I felt this way as well) as you're still getting used to everything that's going on
