You don't need to apologise for "not being productive". You're making plans for the work you want to do, which is great for staying organised. As DerDracologe mentioned, the first few weeks of a-levels are mainly for settling into your subjects and getting used to the routines so it's okay if you feel like you're not getting 'enough' work done (as I felt this way as well) as you're still getting used to everything that's going on

thank you so so much! at the beginning i had no idea what to do but im actually finding the study periods useful now to do stuff instead of doing them at home :') still feel pretty disorganised tho 😓 thank youuu your advice is so thoughtful 😭 <3

You sound like you’ve been doing a lot of stuff 🙂 dont burn yourself out trying to do more than you need to just because you feel you need to. It’s only the first few weeks so focus on settling in and finding your feet a bit.

yeahh honestly i've not been doing much, i did some stuff in the first few days but got too tired 😭 idk why doing 4 subjects is so much more tiring than 11 in gcses 😓 but ig its a levels and more confusing andd more content

yee i dont want to do anythingg but i feel so stressed about uni for some reason as soon as i walked into year 12 😭 and also feel like i should do clubs now before its too busy in year 13?? but honestly idkk feel like weve been thrown into some huge important year and idk what to do :<
sorry for all that lol

It’s fine, I get that too- also started thinking about uni recently. I guess for now just focus on what feeling right and then stress about the other stuff later 🙂

What's a MOOC?

What's a MOOC?

Massive open online course

Massive open online course
Don't know what that means.
Original post by Adam Woodbridge
Don't know what that means.

It’s basically a course you do online (often made by unis and stuff) and you learn more about a subject which interests you. There’s often reading, questions, can be investigation portions, videos etc. I’ve done one on behavioural ecology, one on aquatic mammals and im in the middle of one on hibernation and torpor. If you’re interested id recommend doing them off OpenLearn but edx is decent too 🙂
