Study abroad in Japan

I was doing GCSE English and level 2 business in college as I failed my GCSEs. And because I was studying in school for 12 years already (this is what Japanese university need for least requirement) and I was doing level 2 programs as well, am I able to go abroad and study in Japan or should I go for another 2 years for a level or btec?

Depends on the institution, I would recommend checking multiple universities in Japan and also look at visa requirements for studying. Some programs may offer a foundation course so if you don't meet the specific requirements for the main program, you could do this instead. Tokyo & Keio are the biggest university in my opinion but there are others which are okay like Sophia university (上智大学).

Whilst my biggest mistake when doing my undergraduate was not looking at the modules - hugely recommend this if there's an aspect of the program you'd like to study.

Lastly, check if you need to do an entrance exam - this means you would need to go to Japan and be aware of traditions the University has, you may have to go in person too, in order to see your results.
