Year 12 student!! A level help

Hi! I’m in year 12 rn and I’m really confused as to what a levels I should pick
Rn I’ve chosen bio chem lang and re.
Everyone says bio and chem are hell so idk if I wanna carry on with them. I’m personally an English and history girl. At gcse I received a 9-8 in science. I know I have to pick one science at least because I feel as though devoting myself to humanties really limits my career choices (or maybe that’s what I think)
I just want honest opinions about how bio and Chem was for ”mid” student like me.
And if I should carry on with my choices? And any tips!
And I’m thinking about English lit if I decide to change one of my sciences, is it worth it? And I need job ideas for doing only ONE a level science. And careers for us humanities girlies 😞🤞🏼

I did bio and chem. I got a 7 in chem for my GCSE’s and I didn’t really enjoy it at GCSE. I actually found it alright at AS/A level, if you know the basics you’ll do fine. Especially if you got a 9-8. I’d advise watching some YouTube videos or looking at the specification to see if you’ll like it because it goes into more depth than GCSE. Biology was good too, if you like essay writing you’ll likely enjoy it but the mark scheme was very picky so you might need to do exam practice and familiarise yourself with the mark scheme. I also did English literature. Tbh for me, these subjects were very similar to GCSE just more detailed or different books etc

I Think I’ll give it a shot. If it goes really bad I’ll drop one of the sciences at the end of yr 12.
Do you think I should keep lang or swap it for lit? Apparently lit is more respected at unis
I got 9 in noth lit and lang at gcse. I really loved both tbh
