Got third class honour in my degree, what's next

With 3 years of suspension due to COVID, mental issues and VISA, I finished my degree with only a third-class honour in Physics at the University of Birmingham.
What should I look for if I want to go back to academia in the future?

The fact that you even got a physics degree from UOB, is an achievement in itself. So, well done!!

As for your options… perhaps, look to a masters?

ikr but most of the uni require at least a second-class honour to apply for a master's. That's the thing.

You need a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience. Nowhere (nowhere worth the fee!) is going to take you back into further study with a 3rd. Get a job, start a career, review what you want to do 5 years down the road.

If I want to apply nuclear physics masters', what jobs or experiences should I look for? Or is it unrealistic to have this goal?

It's unrealistic goal unless you get a job in the nuclear industry. If it's what you want though, look for jobs in the nuclear industry (assuming you mean nuclear power/waste etc).
