I did not do too well in year 12

Hi, I am stressed because of my year 12 grades, I have not left my house and have been studying since my summer holidays, every single day and is it over for me. I am applying to Durham, Birmingham, Lancaster, Leicester, leeds. and they need 3 A or more for computer science and best believe I did not get any A's or B's
Try to take it easy. So long as you aren’t applying to Oxbridge where you need to submit papers by October, work on all your bits and bobs like personal statement and then submit early dec. Hope by then the Fruits of your labours will have paid off.
If your GCSE’s went well that’s so much the better. Some universities ignore predicted a levels because some schools just overstate.

Hi, @sound-nod

I hope you are well!😊

It sounds like you've been putting in lots of effort over the summer in your studies! However, it's important to have breaks, not overwork yourself, and not be too hard on yourself!

Try not to overwork yourself too much as this can lead to burnout (and I know all about that!), and try not to worry too much about your grades, as you still have a whole academic year to work on your studies! As @snoopadoop said, take it easy, and work on your personal statement, and UCAS application, as this is a great way to show universities your interest in the subject, work-ethic and motivation to study.

Good luck for your A-levels! And with the right study/break balance I'm sure with your motivation, you can get your grades up!🙂

Take breaks, and have a rest!
Best wishes,
Josie

hi cheers for your reply and @snoopadoop but the thing is a whole academic year will go so fast and I wont even realise so I have to revise for my A levels now I still have content to cover by myself so then I can demolish past papers my target is to finish my whole A levels by November latest so then I will have around 7 months to practice because I took GCSEs too easy and revised for a full 3 months before my exams but I ended getting 6's in all my gcse which I wasn't proud of but now I know better, So what your saying is unis look at personal statments more than the grades
