student bank account

hello im trying to pick between natwest or nationwide for my student bank account but im so indecisive! im in my second year of uni and i already have a railcard so going with santander is a bit pointless... does anyone have either natwest or nationwide and is there a reason you went with them

im also thinking of switching my current account maybe from barclays so i was hoping the student bank account i choose would be good in general with an overall satisfaction, i know it's important to do my own research which i have but im going around in circles???

Hi there,

I know the feeling of trying to compare all of the different options for this!

I was the same as you - I already had a rail card - so I went with Nationwide as they were offering £150 cashback as their incentive when I opened my account. But I know most banks are offering something similar which makes it harder to decide.

Have you looked at the Martin Lewis comparison page? I found this the most helpful when I was choosing my bank.

Hope this helps. 🙂
