confirmation

I have taken two years of finance and have just applied for a four year course also have passed the interview, the university wants me confirm that I will be funded for 3 years tuition fee and maintenance loan. I have spoken to the university and confirmed that for the foundation year I will self fund the tuition fee ?
Hi frankbradodetou,

Yes, if you have 2 years of previous study you will need to self fund the 1st year of the new course.

Thanks,
Calum

Hi,

You are normally eligible for 4 years of undergraduate funding. If you have already used two of these years, you will have to fund the remaining years, that you will not have student finance for. Sometimes universities offer scholarships or bursaries, so maybe look into this, to help fund your last year These normally have a eligibility criteria, in order to apply for them.

Just noting that there is no 4yr cap on undergrad funding. That’s not how the eligibility calculation is done.

Just to confirm, that's correct - we do a calculation to determine your entitlement.

To the OP, if you need any further details just let us know.
