Personal statement (economics)

I have a month internship as a financial analyst and done some courses about excel and ethical practice. But I am unable to link it into my personal statement and would appreciate any advice.

What did you learn on the internship?
How did it make you want to learn more about economics?

I learned how to construct some simple models, extracted data to help with some presentation, and some simple forecasting tools that allowed me to cross-check entries by others. my main interest is around behavioural economic, and for that, I have learnt a bit of econometrics. So I have tired linking it but it seems like I am stretching for it.

How did learning that stuff make you want to learn more about economics? What did you then go and read/watch/listen to develop your understanding of that further?
