what unis ill realistcally get with my predicted grades for computer science

Hi, I got A*AAA in my predicted grades(I do Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Economics at A level and want to study computer science at university) and i got:
A* in maths
A in physics
A in Economics
A in Further Maths
I was wondering - it would help if someone brutally answered what univeristies i have a chance of getting offer from and wud i have a solid shot at unis such as bristol(i have contextual),durham,nottingham,southampton,birmingham,kings college london(i have contextual for that)
Hello there @ar33n_j3in ,

Wow, what a fab set of results, you've obviously worked very hard to get them. Great to hear you're interested in computer science, and I can say looking at those grades that there will be plenty of very good unis you could apply to with those grades. With your A*AA, then you may be able to go for places such as Durham, Nottingham, or Southampton. At the time of writing, both Bristol and here at Bath we need A*A*A (maths being the perhaps the most important of all your subjects), but saying that, an offer decision is based on a range of factors, and whilst grades are super-important, we also look at your context, your personal statement etc.

I would say to be on the safe side, not to apply for unis with high entry requirements only. I would recommend applying for 1-2 ambitious choices such as Bristol, Bath or KCL, then 1-2 with entry requirements a little below your predicted grades, then 1-2 a little lower as a back up. Then you'll be giving yourself the best chance you can of getting a place.

@McGinger what are your thoughts?

All the best :smile:
