Can I go to freshers week stuff as a 23 yr old third year?

So I'm 23 and going into third year at university. Because of mental health reasons I never really did any socializing in my first two years and I'm regretting it since I have no friends now. I want to try and do freshers week properly this time, but I don't know if its weird.

I feel like I'll be a bit creepy if I go there as a 23 year old third year when everyone else is 18-19 and in their first year. I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable or ruin anything for anyone.

You're fine. I have friends who were attending freshers when they were 25 and in their first year.

Rule of thumb is unless people ask you, they generally don't know your age and assume you're like the others.
Absolutely go, its not limited to 1st years only. Remember there will be lots of Masters students new to the uni who will be at freshers week hoping to join clubs and societies so you should not feel out of place.

People are a range of ages when they start university so you won't be out of place if you go to Freshers events and they're not limited for first years only so there is likely to be second and third years there as well as postgraduate students. So don't worry about it being weird, most people won't really notice if you are older anyway!

I hope this helps😀
