GYG-Year 13 Diaries

Welcome to my GYG- A stressed year 13 trying to stay calm and work hard!!

My A-levels:
- Business (AQA)
- Physics (OCR A)
- Computer science (AQA)
- AS maths (Edexcel)

I'll be posting weekly updates to help me stay productive and consistent throughout the year. Also want to help any year 12s or even year 11s with any of their subjects and give advice. Would love it if fellow year 13s or even uni students can help and provide advice and help on how to get good grades in the my subjects.

This week:
- I have started my Design section of my NEA
- I have got a head start in my revision (reviewing year 12 content mainly)

I will post next week and give update- also I have purposely written it in the present tense

> remember slow and steady wins the race- don't overwhelm yourself with work
hi! will be watching ur gyg this year as we’re doing similar subjects apart from physics. I live in Scotland so the qualification is different but i think it should be the same level. Do you have any tips on how to study come computing science and good luck this year <3 that’s so right not to overwork yourself

hiii! hope you enjoy! For cs I would say get all the theory on flashcards and just review them- wouldn't bother with notes. and for the coding, practice whenever you can it will help when you do your project- also start your project early and start thinking of ideas soon- hope this helps!

Last week

I started my design of my NEA

Got ahead in Circular motion and business strategies

This week

I got the gist of my design done (the diagrams and maybe start the programming)

I continued revising physics and going through year 12 content

I did business essay practice and got practice in finance

These are my goals for this week and a little review of my past week!

Yh so I might have missed a week or two - whoopsies! I was so ill and out of it but still on the academic comeback uno.

Feeling much better this week so here's the plan iA:
•Start coding NEA
•revise year 12 physics content and do topical tests
•go through CS past papers

Keeping it short and sweet this week. See you next week!!!
