Private or University Owned Accommodation

I will be going to Cardiff University starting Sept 2025 as I have deferred my offer for business management. What are the pros and cons of private accommodation vs normal university accommodation. I want to live in a hall of 5 or more and not a studio. I do like socialising but I also like the balance of having quiet nights in and would like to live in a place that has that balance. I have looked at Eclipse, Zenith and the unite student accommodations but am open to all of the uni ones, if they have an ensuite.
