Hi all, I just thought I’d start SC Grad Scheme thread for 2025. I have applied for Global Credit Markets and have already done video interview. Looking at the discussion for last year, it’s going to be a long time I guess :/

hey when did you complete the pymetrics test and got VI link?

I did pymetric and VBA on 8th and got invite for VI the same day but I did my VI only yesterday. Today I got an email saying that now the recruitment team will review the application and contact me if they find me suitable for the role

I am planning to complete pymetrics test today or tomorrow, any suggestion you have for me? Please

Pymetrics is just games based assessment. Read the questions carefully you’ll have to play games and find out if there’s something odd or any pattern or probability. They just want to see how you react to different data sets, changes in data etc etc. it also might depend on position you’re applying for

for the roles, do you need to be a final year student? i.e being a student right now to be eligible?
Their ad is saying this "You’ll be a final year student, able to start full time employment in July 2025"

how was the test? was it diffcult?

To be honest, I come under the ‘recent graduate’ category and still applied and did the HV and all. No clue if they are strict about it or not, always worth a try.

How long does it take to hear back after you have completed the test?

I read somewhere that last year they sent an email to all selected people by Nov end or Dec Starting for next round. Those people didn’t hear anything in October and whole Nov until the end. I hope this year it’s not the same

I meant i just completed the game test, when do you hear back after that? I have not done the video yet.
