PFF2 form

I was wondering how I could get my household income assessed without taking out a maintenance loan after I have already applied for a tuition loan for this year... am I able to just upload the PFF2 form onto my application alone under the upload a document section and assume SFE will know what I'm trying to do or must I also upload another form?

Hi gggg.1,

You would need to complete and upload a pff2 form with your sponsor's details. As long as you have already stated that you do not want a maintenance loan you don't need to do anything else.

Thanks,
Calum

I haven't explicitly stated it anywhere however should I? I did put the maintenance amount I wish to take out as 0 when applying for my tuition loans but is this enough? Sorry I just want to make sure my household income will be assessed as on the website I saw a few forms that came up when I was initially trying to search how to do this, for example 'Applying for student finance based on household income form' (NMT TO MT). Is this no longer needed as I do not wish to take out a maintenance loan?
(Apologies if my wording is confusing.)

Hi there, We would still require the NMT to MT form for us to assess you based on the household income, this will not affect you wanting zero Maintenance Loan funding. Thanks, Angela

Ah I see. So just to be clear I am only to upload the PFF2 form as well as the NMT to MT form in order for my household income to be assessed?

just wanted to quickly ask, when filling out the PFF2 form there are questions which tell you to skip to another section depending on your answer however at the top of the form it says you cannot leave anything blank I was wondering if I'm expected to go back in and fill the missing sections despite being told to go to the other section

Hi there,

If you answer a question and it tells you to go to different section, this is fine. Its meaning if you don't put an answer down to the question you should have answered.

Thanks,
Claire
