University of salford- Making new Friends

Hi everyone! I’m just making this post to hopefully meet new people at the University of Salford. I’m starting Year 1 on the 16th of September, assuming that’s the same for everyone else. I was wondering if there’s a group chat available for students to join?

Congrats on your place at the University of Salford, we are all very excited for you to start your journey.

We do have our 2024 applicants thread, if you want to post in that then you might get a wider reach of people joining at the same time as you.

I do believe we have some Facebook pages also, again this might allow you to meet a few more people digitally before your teaching commences on the 16th.

We are also currently in Welcome week at the university, we have tons of activities happening on campus. If you do live local you can come along and start your experience a bit earlier.
